Variety 1560 AM is a legal, unlicensed, low-power, micro radio station operating under Part 15.221 and 15.219 for AM, 15.239 for FM, and part 15.247 for our studio to transmitter linking system allowed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). We are not licensed, and operate on a non-interference basis. We do not knowingly cause interference to any full power stations licensed by the FCC. If a station gets licensed locally on any of the frequencies we occupy, then we must move to a new, unoccupied frequency. We can currently be heard on 1560 AM / 92.1 FM in the west and 1600 AM in the east building We use low-power transmitters that are operated in full compliance with the FCC rules and regulations.

When we are not airing original programming, we are playing a mix of music from the 40s through the 80s. Our current library has in excess of 2,700 songs and is always growing. These stations are a labor of love. I derive absolutely no income from the operation of these stations; I do this simply because I love radio, music, and broadcast engineering.
